I'd love to hear about the taking of these wonderful shots. How and where were you positioned? What gear? How did you assure your safety?

All of these images were taken with a Canon 1DX Mark II and a 600mm f/4L version II.

Would like to upgrade to mirrorless someday, but for now I'm satisfied with what I have.

Rich - Thanks, I appreciate it. These were taken last spring in Yellowstone. The bears were walking parallel to a road on a hillside. There was a group of us shooting across the road or from a turnout as the bears walked along. Most of these images have been cropped to some degree. These were taken with a Canon 1DX II and a 600mm F4.0. (Tripod Mounted)
