D, was she one of the exhibits?
I like the pic. I'm ok with the crop. I might even go as far as to crop just touching the forehead, that's still not to much in my book.
I don't see the softness but then I don't have a monster 4K screen.
Don't know how manipulated it is but I see what's almost going in and out of what looks like she has freckles and areas that have a texture like putty but maybe that's just how she looked or had done her makeup!
To me it's much more about interest than perfection and those eyes are definitely interesting!

Thank you John. I am going to crop down a touch more as mentioned above, only question is how far. The effect you mentioned might be DOF. Also, I am not sure that I am uploading images in an optimal way, I need to research the subject.
