Breathtaking images, Rajan! What a treat to witness such gorgeous, rich hues caressing the snow! Kudos to you for your eternal perseverance in celebrating Nature's gifts through your images!!!
Rajan, absolutely breathtaking images! There is something special about first light on a snow covered mountain range. All are great images but I am leaning towards #2. The pink glow is just mesmerizing. Thanks for sharing seldom seen images of Iceland. Excellent work as usual

Rajan, you got the sweet light here and my favorite color combination.
David, Jung, Parul, and Ross - thank you, all, very much.
Beautiful light and captures. Were you in a plane, or just high on another mountain. #1 is incredible with that kiss of light. The hill with it's graceful curve funnily enough reminds me of the dunes in Death Valley. You couldn't get further away from Iceland than DV!

Derrick,
Thank you.
These were shot from a helicopter.
Interesting that you should mention Death Valley - it is the only place in the USA that evokes in me feelings similar to those in some areas of the Icelandic Highlands. Differences in geology notwithstanding, what they have in common are the otherworldly stark and desolate vistas.
