Thanks for sharing. Don't think I could have closed my eyes and imagined anything close to what you captured if you asked me to envision Idaho. Great shots!
Thank you, Mr Wrenn, for your wonderful comment. Another curious statistic, Idaho has more miles of rivers than any other state due to its immense amount of mountainous terrain. It is a very rugged state.

Thank you very much for your comment and support. The image that you refer to was taken at the top of a ridge looking down into Hell's Canyon and the Snake River, which forms the Idaho - Oregon border at that point. There are very few access points into Hell's Canyon and this is one of them. Have a great day!
Thanks for the detail information. If I don't have a 9 months old now, I'd continue my landscape photography trips up to mountains. Had a few before in southwestern states. Very exhaustive but rewarding. Nowadays I only practice portraits most of time.

Outstanding depth and pull in your photos, bravo
Thank you for your generous comment, Mitch! Your words mean a lot to me. Hell's Canyon is an amazing canyon. I plan to post more images from the area in the near future.
3 thumbs up for a local guy!
The old White Bird grade, and Harpster grade are fantastic motorcycle rides we do every year out of Lewiston.
Hopefully Hells Canyon has a lot less wildfire issues this year.

Thank you for your wonderful comment! And cheers to a Lewiston local. I live fairly close to Harpster and drive up and down that grade all the time. Hopefully this summer won't be as crazy hot as it was last year. I lost a lot of pine trees due to the extreme heat and drought. I have a few nice images of the overlook above Lewiston that I may post here sometime. It is great to hear from you.
