I felt fortunate to be able to capture this wonderful but tiny hummingbird during a take-off sequence. To be honest, this was its favorite perch; it landed there every so often to rest and took off again to feed. I took advantage of the situation, knowing its behavior. This guy is so fast that to the naked eyes, it was just like a blur. For that I had to use the highest frame rate, 30 fps, and a high shutter speed to just get these 4 frames before it flew out of the composition.
Thank you for stopping by and please feel free to leave any feedback,
Joshua
Beautiful images Joshua. Great work in getting these shots. Your patience and understanding its behavior paid off big time. What a great perch with a perfect background.
