Super images "TW"! Very well done and super tones!
Thanks Dan. The conditions were far from ideal. It was cold, wet, and dark. I was shooting from under an umbrella, and had to hold a bag as well, but managed to get a few shots.

Love how your eye gets so close and personal.
Just realized you're now following me on IG. I always thought you were just Toothwalker.
I am not that fond of social media, but I have a growing collection of street photographs and hardly anybody sees them. So I thought I'd give it a try. Norwegian winter is coming, so I will be less active on the streets, but I have enough in stock to remain active on IG. Apparently that is what you have to do if you want to be seen.

IG is a love hate relationship for me. People like to look at videos, less so stills like what you and I do in street photography. The IG algorithm is very slanted towards videos. So it was hard for me to get any traction on what I posted. After over a year of posting, I felt frustrated as I had only had acquired 250 followers and if I was lucky only getting tops 50-60 likes on a photo. So I just quit posting there, until this past week. I went to a lecture recently giving pointers on improving one's success on IG. So I figured I'd try it again.
IG done properly takes a great deal of effort to succeed. And I think it's more appropriate if you're in need of a marketing tool.

What are these pointers? We'll see how it goes. It is an experiment for me.

Very fine compositions Marine!
Nothing like a walk thru Chinatown and grab a fresh hand rolled "spring roll" with super fresh ingredients and some hot mustard!
S/F!

Very fine indeed. And a cigarette always adds something, but that could be just me.

This is really fine Allen! The tones on my wife's Mac laptop is/are bad and these look OUTSTANDING! So on my 30" calibrated monitor the tones, and "the street" are "king"! The reflections are wonderful.
S/F Marine!
Nice series Allen. My favorite is the "Luncheonette" photo. Some smiling, some oblivious, all interesting. The woman inside clearly wasn't happy with your camera. Such is the life of the street photographer.

This has been my avatar for two years now.
It can be found in Norwegian waters, but it is just a walrus.
