I would never have thought of Ohio as a photo destination, Ross! Ohio should engage you to promote the wonderful aspects of Nature within the State. All of these images are beautiful and tell their story well. My favorite is the last one. Perfect shutter speed on the water fall!

As a NW native I can't imagine moving to the mid-west, but I'm a mountain guy for most of my recreation. You certainly have shown that landscape beauty can be found there though! #2 and 4 really stand out for me.
That means a lot to me Jim, thanks for saying that! I do believe that every state has its form of beauty, but I have to set aside my expectation from growing up in the PNW and be in the right mindset to see and appreciate what is offered.

I really like the first one. Would make a great desktop background, spanning a couple monitors
I’m glad you like that one @Asdqqq and thanks for telling me. That’s a view along a hiking trail at my local state park, one of my favorite sections of quiet forest where I’ve spent a lot of time.
So that's what spring looks like? I have forgotten - we live in a black and white world here in winter in western Montana - just mainly white ground and gray skies. Longing for the colors of spring............... Thanks for helping me remember!

PS - I lived in northern Ohio for 3 years as a kid in the early 60s - south of Cleveland

Hi Doug, that’s a wonderful comment! It’s cool you were in Ohio for a time. Yes I hear you, I find that by the time February hits it feels like winter has overstayed its welcome, and I begin dreaming of spring. Hope you have a great season in MT when it hits.
