First time getting photos of Long-Eared Owls.

Canon 5D IV w/ Canon 500mm II & Canon 1.4x III or Canon R5 w/ Canon 500mm II & Canon 1.4x III

1)Topaz Gigapixel and Cropped

2)Sometimes they try to make themselves look like a branch, but I think this is a Long-Eared Owl

3)Was lucky to have one fly over and perch close to me.

4)Then it saw something and flew off the perch

5)I was hand holding the camera , pointed it and hoped for the best as it hovered

6)Went back the next morning, they were tucked in and didn't move. I cropped this one to show the frost crystals on the face.

I like the intimate nature of some of the images... that face with snow crystals is fantastic.
