Although the manual contains this feature, I was unaware of it as I mainly operate the Leica M10-R in rangefinder mode, making me feel embarrassed. Recently, I discovered that the INFO display on both the M10-P and M10-R models is incredibly useful not only for viewing your current settings, but also for modifying them via the touchscreen.
Previously, I only utilized it to check my battery level and access quick settings, without realizing the settings could be changed through touch. Unfortunately, the vanilla M10 lacks touchscreen functionality. To access the main camera quick settings when in rangefinder mode (LV off), simply press the Center button on the Directional pad and the LCD will display them.
To access the primary camera quick settings while in rangefinder mode (LV off), simply press the 'Center' button located on the Directional pad, and the LCD will display them.
One of the great features is the ability to modify these settings by simply clicking on their respective icons. Suppose I configure the top dial to "M" for ISO settings. In that case, I can directly modify the ISO value by clicking on the current ISO setting and adjusting it through the INFO button. (Item 16 in the above image)
Additionally, it's an excellent way to swiftly enable the 'Wi-Fi' feature when transferring images to the Fotos app and quickly turn on/off GPS as needed (Item 5 in the above image). With these capabilities, it's now effortless to switch between camera profiles and lens detection modes.
As far as I'm aware, the only setting that cannot be modified using the touchscreen is the shutter speed, as it is exclusively controlled by the dial. Please feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken.
While this may be common knowledge for some, I hope this information is beneficial to those who were previously unaware of this functionality.
