There photos were taken over 3 sessions this past week after the heavy snow that we received. The 'No-eared' part of my title is referring to the Kestrel, however I'm unsure if it has outer ears.
All were taken handheld with varying light.
At first I thought the Long-eared was a Shorty I then got excited when I realized it was a Long-eared. Turns out when I went to take photos of it my camera froze up. This is the 1st time I've experienced this with my A1. I ended up getting it to work by removing and shooting without the aftermarket grip. It was -22 C (-7F).
Thanks for looking.
Jason
Wow Jason these are awesome ! I love the blue sky background, and the prey shots. The long eared owl shot is fantastic. The set as a whole just screams Quality Images IMHO. Super collection.

Gorgeous set Jason. What are you waring to stay cozy in that balmy weather?
Morris
Thanks Morris. When dressed properly it's not that bad, finger tips are usually my only challenge.
