B&H shows the Z 24-120 In Stock at this time.
I was finally able to use this lens on a trip to Carmel / Napa and ended up being absolutely blown away. Sharpness, contrast, no CA, great close focus, fast accurate af, beautiful rendering and bokeh. Really no weakness and wont be coming off my camera unless I need more light or reach.
I don’t think it’s hyperbole to call it the best midrange zoom ever made.

Just ordered one from B&H after keeping my eyes on it for a long time, due to out of stock. Can't wait to use it on up coming family road trip (would be a great travel lens) and will see how this lens compared to my 24-70 2.8S and f4 S versions.
Really happy to see it back in stock at B&H. @RoamingScott's pictures have convinced me this going to be a really worthwhile single lens to keep generally glued to my Z6. I'll probably pick one up a bit later this summer.

This is the flare I got pointing directly at the setting sun in White Sands NP. In this case I find it aesthetically pleasing, and the sunstar is just fine with me also.
Thanks for posting this. Do you have more sunstar images? I find the sunstar of the 24-70/4 very busy and am debating whether I should get the 24-120/4 or 24-70/2.8. The latter is undoubtedly going to have a more pleasing sun star but I would rather take the larger range over carrying a lot more weight for 2.8 that I would almost never use
P.S. Did Nikon recently lower the price to $1096. I am seeing used lenses offered in the B&S forum above $1050.

Just got my 24-120 and did a few quick mid-day comparisons of sunstars against the 24-70. The difference is night and day. The 24-120 sunstars are no spectacular by any means, but at least they are 18 distinct rays, not the busy mess of rays paired by veiling in between that the 24-70 produces. Will do more tests today to confirm
