The owls shots are great but I enjoy the harrier images more so. Up to this point, I couldn't get close enough to them, probably that's the reason why they are more appealing to me.

Fantastic set Pius, I'm partial to the Harrier shots and that last Ruff legged hawk in the last shot.

Pius - great set of images. Like others, I enjoyed the Harrier images. However, what impressed me most is the quality of the Short-eared owl shots given the low light and associated noise. Mind sharing the exif and pp for the owl shots?

Thanks Dave.

I don't mind sharing that info one bit...

The owls were taken at 1/3200 - f/4- ISO 1600, heavily cropped the rain clouds moved in and the light disappeared.
The regular adjustments in lightroom basic panel to make the photo look balanced.
Tone curve panel, tweak the lights and the dark's to my taste.
HSL/Color panel, use the yellow slider to make the owls eye pop.
Detail panel, both sharpening and Noise set to zero (off)... let AI Denoise handle that.
Now back to the top of the menu I use the new masking tool to select and mask subject, then invert the mask to select the background... pull the noise slider all the way to the right. Grab the texture slider and pull to the left to your liking. I usually go for -10 or -15. The texture slider adds blur and further helps with the noise reduction.

Next I send the file to Denoise AI set to the Clear Option, Recover Original Detail and Color Noise Reduction set to zero. Then I will choose Remove Noise option set to either low or med depending on how things look. Enhanced sharpening set to high.

That was my processing procedure for the owls.

Hope this helps

Pius
