I went for a walk off through the fall colors of beautiful Triglav National Park in Slovenia. I came across this beautiful emerald green pool with a small cascade. I had to scramble down a ravine and balance on a rock to get this shot.
Nice, where did you find this little gem? The lush, saturated vegetation makes me think it`s somewhere in the rainforests and not in the middle of Europe.

Love your images from Slovenia, keep`em coming.
Cheers, A.
I am very happy to read that you are enjoying my images from the trip to Slovenia. It is your place that you understand so well. This is in evidence in the many fine images you post while out riding your bike. I always love them.
The forest in the National Parke is very dense. I have a number of other images. Bright green trees and ferns with the floor of the forest covered in deep red fallen leaves. I should have spent more time focused on it, but it was a drizzling day, and my Wife was not n a patient mood. I can always go back for more images. I already have way too many ex Wives....

Really nice intimate scene, love the greens in this.

Thanks Heron.
The green water is caused by the water soluble Calcium/Magnesium Carbonate mineralization of the Dolomite rocks. It is the perfect compliment to the rich greens of the forest.
