Last week has an opportunity to spend 4 days in Bay Area and got lucky with work schedule giving me a chance to go out an photograph. This is a very popular spot and wanted to try doing a pano. I think I needed to use a little longer shutter speed to get better light trails for the pano image. I was really rushing as I got to he spot just as I just got to the spot very close to sunset time. Second day i went to Marshall beach to photograph sunset images. Will post pictures at later time.
Both are good in their own ways. The sunset one shows the soft hues in the sky while the blue hour one is bolder with strong color contrast (red/blue).

Two quality images. My pick is #1 - lovely colour and deftly processed.

Both are nice but I also like #1 for the subtle sunset colors. Did you get those Tamalpais fog bank shots?
Thank you. I did attempt to go up Mt. Tam. I got past the Pantol Ranger station and then few miles into my drive there was an accident. Hence, turned around and left. In fact I am glad that I started driving back down as that road to the top is hard to drive on when it starts getting dark Sunset would be hard during this time of the year as its gets dark and foggy driving up there. I will definitely try to get up there during day time on my next visit.

Thanks Mike, I really missed on the long exposure to get the light trails. Now I have a reason to go back.

Very nice, I like the first a little more though. The sky is very soothing to the eye.

Love the dramatic sky and the glow of the bridge in #1, but the #2 has a beautiful light streak on the bridge and nicely lit up city. I couldn`t decide which one I would hang on my wall.
