Here is my entry for the "blue" challenge. I made the checkboard pattern in photoshop and printed it out on an 8.5" x 11" sheet. I placed the blue glass cubes on two white squares, set it on my kitchen table and voila! Lighting is just regular kitchen lights. Please feel free to leave any comments.
Hey Baldur, thanks for the comment. Ya, I guess it does kind of look like computer animation... I never really noticed before The only PS work I did was adjustments to levels, contrast, saturation, some slight spot editing and cropping.

Swifty, thanks for you kind comments... they are much appreciated.
The cubes are actually glass, not ice and by the way DON'T THINK ABOUT DELETING YOUR ENTRY! It's great.
Dan
Thank you for the kind words.
Where did youget the cubes? Are those the ones you put to cool in the refrigerator and then put them in drinks? They look really cool. My next questions was going to be how did you mange not to let them melt even a little? Then when you mentioned it was glass it answered my question.
I want to say thank you to everyone who left comments, I really enjoy getting feedback on my work. Swifty, the cubes are actually just pieces of glass that I picked up at a local craft store. I guess crafters must use them for something lol!
