“The approach of a wolf-subtle, almost in slow motion, confident and decisive, seeking a connection on her or his own terms-can stretch time, open the heart, and awaken the soul. Wolves have a heart-centered, awe-inspiring presence that is unforgettable and impactful beyond language. An encounter like this can awaken a dormant, primal memory within us, an echo from a distant time when we were more alert, connected to nature, awake, and alive.”
Stunning set. Very well done. I've only seen a few wolves in the wild and only have pictures of one. The others were very brief encounters where the wolf disappeared again very quickly before the opportunity for a shot.

Thanks Gordon. I think by and large friends and family members were a bit underwhelmed with my wolf photos. I think people have a misconception because of all the fluffy hybrids they've seen from game farms and photo ranches. This is what real wolves look like At least from this area.

simply marvelous, Gary. love all the poses. When were these taken? YGMV
Thank you. These were taken over a 6 day camping trip in August 2016. Please forgive me for living in the past but the encounters I had with these animals touched me deeply. They're literally still in my dreams and/or nightmares.
