Fantastic set as always Colin! I was going to pick a favorite but as I scrolled down it became impossible.
It's great to see you coming back swinging and I'm glad the darker moments that you first went through are over.

Great set as always. Happy to hear that you've been able to regain some joy in your life. I hope that you're able to have many amazing experiences in the days to come.

Hi Colin,

Well, I thought I might never type here again...but your post changed that. I believe it has been two plus years since posting, and though I was still comfortable with only lurking from time to time I saw your post and felt compelled to comment. Of course there is nothing I can say to you to make anything better or different, but in stark contrast your story should speak to many of us.
I know through your words I could feel my life, and believe I saw at least a glimpse of what you are living.

My world has been a challenge since the first COVID wave over 18 months ago. My profession is pharmacy administration for a larger health system, and I have watched the will and compassion of amazing care givers be sucked away. Now in their eyes I see fatigue and exhaustion. I continue to see way too much suffering and death from something almost entirely preventable.

Then I see your post. I feel like you have been challenged by something that no one can prevent. There is no prophylaxis and no hiding from the challenge that found you. And your response inspires me. You have found a way to find the strength to face that which would buckle many of us. You still see the beauty of this world around us and have captured and shared it with us. Thank you for your beautiful work and for sharing a bit of your journey to this place you are living every day. I wish your eyes and mind could be seen through and lived through by all of us for a few days! We would likely be a much better version of ourselves after those days!!

Sincerely,
Greg

Colin, I just discovered this. Because I feel like I know you a bit, it was hard for me to read the news about your struggles. I don't really have any words of wisdom to offer you other than to echo what Morris said above. I'll also be thinking of you and hoping the best for you in the days, weeks, and months ahead.
