A couple of portraits that I took of my friend Riley as a gift. I've been dealing some difficulties over the last few months that have culminated into the most difficult time I have faced in my adult life, and Riley has been a huge part of my support system that has helped keep me on my feet, hence the gifted portraits.
Photographed in all natural light on his apartment balcony in downtown Portland, which happens to be bathed in the most beautiful golden hour lighting towards the end of the day. Gear used was an original Canon 5D with a Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro usm lens attached.
Good to see you still posting. Personally I like #2 best. Nice triangle on the rt cheek and just a very relaxed real attitude. Nicely done.

Thanks man. I definitely like the lighting better on #2. I wish the line of light didn't go through the eye in #1, but I love the expression and connection in #1 enough to where I decided to keep it anyways.
