A couple of images from a recent shoot with my Nikon Z5 and Voigtlander 75 f1.5 (VM Mount) - Megadap MTZ adapter. Quite like this combo for portraits. Feedback is welcome.
"Double D"..I can only comment as a viewer. My portrait composition is terrible!
She is fair skinned and in #1 that does not clash with her surroundings. I like how she is framed and her pose. I might have liked to see her more looking towards the camera but that is just me.
#2 I like much! The color, the wildness of a meadow accent her and her beauty! Now her face color is warmer per the rest of her body.
Well done!

Thanks for the feedback, Dan! I picked #1 since the model absolutely loved this image :-). #2 is my favorite of the whole set.

See gets what she wants "Double D"!!

I like the first image out of the excellent set. Somehow, I would like to see the model turn her head slightly, ever so slightly, more towards the camera. The second image is also great also but the difference in tonality between the head and the rest of the body is a tad unusual.

Thanks for the feedback, Joshua! Great feedback on both accounts. Great observation on the 2nd image. The model's skin tone is naturally very fair, and she was wearing a good amount of face make-up with a darker tone.

Like the 1st as well. Agree with the poster above about turning head slightly more, but awesome dreamlike job.
Thanks!! This was my first time shooting with both of these models, and in a group shoot setting, so I'm very pleased with the results. I'd love to set up a dedicated session with both ladies and create more dreamy images.

May I ask what was your post processing procedure for these photos? What edits did you do?
Hi, I edited this set in the latest version of Luminar AI. I started with a preset portrait template and modified it to my taste. I then color graded the image starting with HSL, and further using the "professional" color grading fine tuning. I pulled down the saturation and luminosity of the green colors and made the flower colors pop a bit more. I also added a vignette to darken the background and highlight the models.
