I said stocking dealers. Sadly, the only three left in Canada are The Camera Store, Camera Canada, and McBain Cameras:
If you want one of these lenses, one of these stores can probably get you one in a week or two.
A lot of the smaller Canadian stores gave up on Olympus products when the company sold the photographic division because OM Systems neglected to service the Canadian market when they took over, and stores couldn't get stock or even price lists from them.
If you had bothered to look, you would have seen that at Kerrisdale, every Olympus lens is listed as "Available by Special order".
Vistek is the same, except for a few remaining lenses they still have in stock. As for Henry's, the word on the street is they are preparing to file for bankruptcy again... so I wouldn't order anything from them.
Lastly, I don't know why you think it's "odd" that B&H would ship the lens to Canada - they ship all kinds of stuff to Canada every day. You could order the lens from them, it would just take longer and cost more than getting one from a Canadian retailer.

How about because there are a number of expensive cameras and lenses that B&H will not ship to Canada? Well I guess if one ordered the lens from B&H and a Canadian dealer at the same time, that would be the only way one would find out which would result in getting the lens sooner. Yes, $170 more from B&H today.
Don't need one at present. Can get my hummers with present OLY gear or Canon gear.
Then there is always some guy on a Gulf Island that sells one after owning it for only six weeks.
