I'm home today as bands of heavy rain continue every few hours here in Queens, NYC. These images were taken as Fred exited our area and huge cumulus clouds created by TS Henri could be seen on the horizon to the south of Long Island. About noon today, the strongest band we will get will come through and possibly it will be more impressive than the one at about 11PM last night. If we get some strong wind, this is when it will happen.
There were small patches of blue between puffy dark clouds when I took this set. The reflections on the ocean were amazing and while the reflections were not as nice in the last image due to a wave, I'm shore the last image will stand out as another special moment.
