IME they have no "tell" as to when they will fly. They also fly very short distances in a split second. To get these flight sequences (and what looks like more than one different sequence) is amazing to me. It takes some serious skill and a competent camera. Pius has always had the skill...finally he has a competent camera. I haven't yet tried for this owl with the A1...I will certainly be looking to try myself very soon
