I was in mount Rainer during the first week of August. The weather did not cooperate and the ambient haze was too bad for photography. However, the wildflower meadows were something to die for. I have never seen such beautiful meadows anywhere else.
I think they still turned out well. I really like the first and second images.
I went to Mt Rainier on June 19th and there was still over 12 feet of snow on the slopes above Paradise, that was melting quickly. Someone had fallen through the snow above Myrtle Falls a few days before and did not make it.
I was at Crater Lake this past Sunday and Wizard Island was just a ghastly outline due to forest fire smoke.

First and second images are my favorites in this group. The haze actually may have created a nice atmosphere for separating layers in the second photo.
I really like 1 and 2. I dont really care for 3. I think the image strength is the complimentary colors and details, which are lost in image 3. and I dont think its your conversion, just dont think this is an image that lends itself well to monochrome.
