May she rest in peace now. I wish you well.
I would describe the photo as calm and serene. And perhaps timeless above all. There are lots of trees but still, the outcome is pleasing to look at.
Amen. 🙏🏼 And thank you for your beautiful feedback here. I appreciate it.

Poignant memories are often linked to images I take at the time. This image and your wonderful sister will always be linked in your mind, I suspect. Wonderful image. I'm sure you sister is even more wonderful.
Hi Gordon.
Yes, thank you and I agree. I’ve never done much art in grief, but I think it is a good idea these days. I have lost like half a dozen loved ones in the last 2... years, and my greatest mentor in my life ever is currently progressing with terminal cancer at the moment. Very sobering times.
Pain, but also greatness too. We can really learn what is not, and what IS important during these types of times. Also gratitude for the life we have been given and the people that are in our life. I never thought about doing photography in commemoration. It just sort of happened. I think it a good idea, at least for me… Blessings on you and your loved ones during these times. 🙏🏼

Thank you so very much. It is well with my soul. 🙂 I’m a super blessed person, even in loss. When you love a lot of people, or, a lot of people love you, we are certainly open to a lot more heartache as well. It is worth it! Blessings on you and your family.

Mark deepest and sincere condolences, It seems that you’ve had a rough couple of years. Your images of the cypress trees in the swamps are just outstanding and I’m sure your sister would have loved them. Take care and hopefully we can meet up sometime as my wife and I are looking to retire in St Augustine within the next year.
Hi John. Thank you so much. And yes, lots of loss, but lots of blessings too.
Thank you for the compliments on my work. I look forward to being neighbors! 😁
Blessings on you, your wife and family during these times! 🙂

Thank you so much. Teresa and I were very close. Every time she would see me she would say “Oh, my brother!” And with the most endearing tone ever. That is how she loved. A lot to learn from that!!! Blessings on you and your family!!!
