This set was taken mid week under changeable skies. There was a bit of fog, then hazy sunshine, and back and forth. Lots of activity at the nesting area with about a thousand black skimmers and a thousand terns all with chicks. Also american oystercatchers and assorted sandpipers and even piping plovers. Long Island is great this time of year!
Nice takes especially the 1st and 3rd images. I find them tough to expose/process even in raw due to the black and white combination but seemed easy for you.

Thank you Gil,
I expose for the whites and in soft light like this don't need to do anything else. In bright light, I'll pull up the shadows or use fill flash to address the dark areas.
