It sounds like it misses focus on moving subject. Does it also struggle in low light?
Well, then I ask the next question: One reviewer said it misses focus on moving subjects. Another one said it‘s really good at focusing on moving subjects. Why not wait until there are more reliable statements before speculating about other things when the basis for it is contradicting?

Just musing how this lens could be used and it's possible setbacks given some of the tests. If this lens is to be used for events, then low light AF is a must.
So I'm awaiting a 3rd review of AF on moving subjects to break this tie...will that then satisfy you?

Why do you make it about me? Actually we are debating a lens. And of course do I find it reasonable (and normal) to wait till it‘s clear how things really are before speculating on. But then again of course I also know that this is not how internet forums work.

Bud...you made it personal when you questioned my post.
If you haven't noticed...this entire damn thread is based on speculation as no one hear has this lens.

We have very different ideas about what it means to become "personal". Then so be it.
You are free to speculate as much as you want. But I am just as free to ask where the point is to infer something about which the basis is not yet clear. Nothing more, nothing less.
We can now speculate for pages how long Alec Baldwin will have to go to jail and whether his wife will leave him. Perhaps we should first find out whether he is to blame for what happened. Ergo: Anyone as they want.

Less friendly. More tense.
I don't think it is a world thing. When I traveled abroad this summer, the people in both countries were just as friendly, if not more so than ever. Americans, however, have become more and more noticeably angry people...at least from my experiences.

It's always good to know languages But it's true, the Asian reviews dominate.
But then again, those which were most informative for me (apart from simply understanding what was said) were the English and German ones

Alright, if my copy confirms his findings, then my Sigma 24-70 and my Tamron 70-180 will be on sale. I will add a 16-35 or 17-28 and I'm set.
I still have a Zeiss Planar 50 1.4 and the Sigma 105 1.4 for the very artistic pictures.
Besides I have a Baits 40 2.0 and a Samyang 75 1.8 if it needs to be lightweight.
(Also a Leica Q2).
But the Tamron 35-150 will cover some very essential focal lengths that have been and have set standards for a very long time. 35/50/(75)/85/(105)/135/150.
