The Andean Toucans are one of the most striking and beautiful birds in the world. In total there are 4 species of these toucans distributed in Ecuador, Colombia, Peru and Bolivia.

Thanks to the excellent places for bird photography in Ecuador and Colombia I am happy to have photographed 3 of the 4 Andean Toucans and one day I hope to be able to travel to Bolivia for the last one I am missing.

Yes, there are a couple of places in Colombia where they feed toucans with grapes. Thanks to these places it is now possible to take very good photos of these beautiful birds, before it was very difficult to achieve it in the forest.

That's right, these toucans live in the mountains up to 3200 masl.
