This is my very first mirrorless body.
I bought this little retro-look camera for video of wildlife and sport/action. I currently shoot with D850, D4s and D800.
I got mine last Wednesday 28th of July with the new Z 28/2.8 SE kit lens and a FTZ adaptor for my F mount lenses.
Great ones, Sar. I hope you like the camera. The good thing is you already have very capable cameras and know how to get the best of them. The bad thing is you already have very capable cameras and know how to get the best out of them . I can only say it's worth trying to persist if the initial transition seems a bit off compared to what you are used to. There are definitely pluses to current mirrorless, chief of which for me being the precise focus capability and seeing exposure in real-time. Looking forward to more from you.

Thanks for your nice comment!
One thing I really don't like on these mirrorless cameras is the EVF.
With Leica 90/2 asph @f8, Kipon adapter.
The good news is that Megadap M to Z AF adapter works fine with Z Fc. The bad news is that the bottom of the adapter hangs too low so I could not put Arca Swiss plate on the bottom of the camera. Look like I will have to wait for the optional grip if I want to use Megadap adapter on tripod.

Nikon NX Studio has supported Z FC.
I have the latest version of NX Studio (at least when I checked update option, it said I already have the current version).
NX Studio can open Z Fc NEF file but as soon as I try to do anything under adjustment tab, I get a message " image failed to load". So I can only view it but not able to do anything else.
Z fc, 500pf, edited camera jpg. I feel like this little camera grabs focus better than my z7ii, specially in tricky lighting. It certainly surprised me. Will have to do more testing.

Hope this can be fixed or just an isolated case as version 1.01 (released 15 July) explicitly says "added support for Nikon Zf-c".

The autofocus system is not as good as the one on my D850 (or D500) but I find the IQ, in general, of the Z fc is superior to the D500.
Nikon Z fc, AF-S 200-400/4G VR, AF-C & Animal Eye-Detection.
The in-flight images are just great. Hopefully one day soon there will be a camera with both great IQ and as good/better AF. The slightly annoying thing is that this might happen within the next one-two years, which is too soon if you've just bought now. On the other hand it's hard waiting for something you don't know for sure will happen and when.

Agreed. Technology evolves very quickly. I am not into mirrorless system yet as I really love my D850 for wildlife, sport/action and anything else. I bought this Z fc for its retro-look and also for video.
