I switched from canon to fuji! I did this shoot with my GFX 100s. Focusing is definitely slower than my r5 was, but it works out okay since for the most part I can tell people to sit still!
Really enjoyed this one; I shot the mom with her oldest daughter two years ago and she came back with her younger two kiddos.

I really love the lighting, the posing, the wardrobe, and the general vibe of these portraits. They're really well done.
My only critique would be that the processing on their skin is taken much further than I would personally go with portraits of children, and I feel that the skin has been desaturated a touch too much because there are grey spots showing up on their skin in some of the photos. Regardless, I think these are well done.
It looks like you're really putting that new gear to good use. I like these A LOT. Even though your processing might look a little overdone to some, I think you have toned it down nicely. Overall, I think you have a definite style which these shots show off well.
Regardless of the camera gear you use, your images speak for themselves. Those are heirloom pieces, Dawn!. What did you use on your GFX 100s, BTW? I am curious as I also bought that camera and in the market for a portrait lens…
I had the 80mm with my GFX 100S and as great as the rendering is the 110mm is a bit better and also the AF is faster than the 80mm. As much as I liked the 80mm I sold it fairly quickly as it was just too slow/loud when autofocusing.

Joshua, I used the GF 110 f2 for this shoot. Will hopefully be trying out the 80 1.7 soon!
