These are incredible, very well done! I am curious, were some of these from a blind of sorts so that you could be really close to the birds to get this detail and texture? I find that I can get to filling 1/2 to 3/4 of the frame with the bird (depending on what it is) but can't imagine being able to get this level of detail on just a small part of them.

Thanks. No blinds, just big glass with extenders, and sometimes a bit of cropping.
This is a really fun series of images... The set reflects a very creative and different approach to bird photography. Hard to pick a favorite, but 1 and 3 are that ones that really catch my eye...
