I love the surreal feeling created by the use of long exposures in the landscape, as well as the compositional power they provide in terms of the ability to create leading lines out of nowhere. Here two images from the coasts of Brittany, in France, a destination I really love and I can't wait to go back to in early November!

hey
how do you know how long the exposure should be? im sure it comes with experience and such.....but i've only always guessed at the long exposures. IM sure im doing something wrong there's gotta be an easier way espeically if the exposure is longer than 30 seconds...?

wonderful photos and i'm looking forward to more long exposures from you
