p.1 #1 · I went mirrorless - beautiful mom & daughter
My first real shoot with the r5! I love it.
Here are some photos from my shoot last weekend with this lovely lady and her beautiful daughter. Had a great time dressing them up, shooting, and editing!
Thanks for looking. As usual, CC and comments are appreciated!

2 very lovely women Dawn! All extremely well done! The complimenting dresses...the processing...I love how you use hats on your women!! This younger beauty just looks so great in #11&12!!!! Just beautiful work Dawn!! You did them proud!!

Wonderful, just wonderful portraits of ethereal quality of mother and daughter, Dawn! Not only well-posed but the attire, accessories and make-up are well selected and done, respectively..
p.1 #5 · I went mirrorless - beautiful mom & daughter
I admire your work and effort, Dawn. But my first impression is that their makeup is too dark, too prominent, too modern and doesn't match the period look.
p.1 #6 · I went mirrorless - beautiful mom & daughter
Well done! Although I get the feeling that the girl had much more fun when without her mother. In my opinion the lady comes across as dominant/ controlling in the pictures. I like #9 the best.

Excellent styling and masterful use of lighting. My only critique is that in some of the photos there seems to be a slight but noticeable purple tinge to the skin, and to me that translates to a bit of an unhealthy look.

Great lighting, great posing, pupils look good (a detail often overlooked by amateurs!), great processing, wonderful portraits all around, huge kudos. I love 3, but my favorite is 5; one of the most difficult parts of REAL photography for a portrait like this is POSING. Posing is difficult! So many details. You can really tell a RANK amateur with basic posing. You've arranged everything here very nicely, and with women, hands are important and her hands look wonderful. This is a nice classically-posed portrait.
I have one nit and that's the woman's hands looking big and masculine and flat to the camera in #5.
Other than that, wonderful, and thanks for sharing!
