This location in Utah near one of the main national parks was such a beautiful surprise to see in person.
This is the overlook near the visitor's center. It offers an amazing view of the canyon below with the layers of rock that represents so much geological history.
In the distance, you can see a large body of water. These are massive solar evaporation ponds used in the process of mining potash. The ponds cover about 400 acres of land. Potash is a water-soluble potassium salt mined from more than 3,000 feet below the ground.

Like the different perspective on this absolutely wonderful location. This more intimate view makes us feel as if we are hiking through the area in person - great composition. Well seen and captured!
