Yesterday morning I got out in the kayak for the first time this year. It was dead calm and beautiful weather. On the water before sunrise.


The first image shows a genetic mutation that sometimes occurs with the Killdeer, resulting in them having four legs - the front ones being reversed. Poor thing.

BAM! A Bald Eagle swoops down and nabs a fish out of the shallow water. While Bald Eagles are actually more of a scavenger than a hunter, they still have the skills to pay the bills.

I can't believe that your first paddle came only in July. Get out there more.

Thanks Morris. The times out in the kayak have me using the Sony 200-600, as taking the 600 f/4 is just too cumbersome (and risky).

Very nice set. The Trumpeter Swan is really gorgeous, but I like the last one (eagle fishing) the best!
