Outstanding. The Blood Moon within the dust of the core is blowing me away. Just gave you a follow on IG, your astro is stunning.
Thanks Daniel! Definitely took a bit of planning and execution haha. The moon and core were 2 images blended together but only because of exposure differences: both were taken with the same body, lens, framing and at the same time (sky was dark enough during totality to expose for the MW). The frustrating thing though was that it was meant to be a clear night but heaps of clouds out of nowhere started rolling in just as totality was happening so I had to rush things (I was also running between two setups) and as a result only really had one good shot at the core without clouds and that shot focus I think was just that smidgen off.
Edit: Just followed your IG too, holy your MW stuff is awesome!

Thank you so much Tony, I am so glad you like my Milky Way nonsense!
It is an extremely well done shot and yeah it totally makes sense that the exposures are completely different. It is more like an HDR than anything. Also I am impressed you managed to sneak it in in between the clouds and just how detailed the milky way is with just one shot!
