I love water lilies!! We have a major lily grower here and just acres of 100's of different kinds of water lilies including this beautiful lotus's!

Thanks Dan! I think I like these "because" of their limited blooming season. This year I lucked out as I made an impromptu trip to the Huntington and discovered they bloomed a little early and the pod that I usually visit that offers dappled light had already come and gone.

Our local "Lily Pons" was just loaded with Giant Lotus, Lotus and a whole basket full of new species! The place was deserted of people. So it was a nice day! Here is what it looked like. This is a "dated" image because my visit was for the newest varieties but the view the samo!
