I was under the impression that vodka made from potatoes was a thing. I was also under the impression that most potato vodka originated in Russia. I was surprised to find out that this is not the case. This particular Polish brand was the ONLY option I found in my little town.

Very well done "LB"!!
I was under the same idea also! Learned something today! Thanks!

Thanks Dan.
My daughter informed me that Chopin makes a potato vodka...ironically from Poland as well. Maybe the Russians stopped growing potatoes.
Due to severe medical repercussions if I do, I am no longer a consumer of alcoholic beverages so I don't keep up with it. I've been dry for over 20 years.
Vodka was never my jam anyway. After an over abundance of experimentation with various other types of distilled spirits, I eventually settled on bourbon as my adult beverage of choice.
Due to severe experimental misuse in my extremely short stint in college (nearly 50 years ago), I still can't even smell a Bacardi rum and Coke without my stomach screaming "go ahead dumba$$...I dare you!!!"

I never like hard liquors LB. My body just didn't like them. I enjoy a ice cold beer after mowing the grass or shoveling snow but that is the extent of my alcohol comsumption. And that beer came well into my older years.
Nothing wrong with enjoying a "beverage" but just my body also cannot handle the hard stuff!
Stay safe brother!
