Thanks for the additional info. With a 600mm-- wow! Wildlife photography is not an area I've dared to venture into yet (since I'm pretty sure chasing down feral toddlers with a camera doesn't count) and just the thought of trying to frame up a moving animal on that focal length makes me feel tense. Makes the shot you attained even more impressive!
simply marvelous Shibu. 399 seems to be a bit on the skinny side in the last shot. I had to good fortune to spend an hour with her and her 2 cubs in 2018. what a marvelous mother she is. Loved the grebe shots. voted.

Terrific collection of images!
You do a great job of capturing images at eye level of the subjects. That makes some great shots.
I particularly like the fox in color and the first shot of the cub. Both are superb.

Thanks Dave, I appreciate the comments. Carried some mud on trying eye level shots, but worth it.
