Thanks for posting photos of those cute owls and the triumphant proud kite! Looks like a lot of fun, but I have to agree with Morris about the bugs. They are mean to me.
Thank you very much, Shirley! Bigger bugs, like June bugs that they owls like to eat, are okay. I hate smaller bugs that bite, like those in Ecuador. Ouch...

Nice series and you even had the opportunity to shoot with an out-of-town FMer
I am looking forward to a bit more sun so the June bugs would come out.
Thank you for sharing.
dan
Thank you very much, Dan! Yes, the June-gloom weather we are having now is definitely not conducive for those bugs to emerge from the underground.

Good looking set, Joshua! My shots are really not much different to yours or Gary's. Here's 3 of the burrowing owls.
Thank you very much, Bobby! I didn't expect to see any difference at all.

And a few of the white tailed kites from that day.
Great set there, Bobby!

Thanks so much for thinking to get this photo Joshua. It's a great momento for me and also a big help when I'm talking to people about the experience. I can not only show them who I'm shooting with but it also gives a good view of the site. That's something I never think to do. Hope we meet again !!
Hi Gary, the pleasure is mine! I hope we won't have any Covid restrictions or hesitations related to Covid by the time you come down this way again.

Hi Josh!
Nice to see you and Bobby having fun. That fourth image of the BO is stellar, I hope their populations will get better soon.
Juan, thank you very much! Yes, there are 2 burrows and one is really heathy with at least 5 owlets. I don't know how many of them will survive and grow to adulthood. At least, there is a chance and we are crossing our fingers...
