I really love the eagle's eyes expression. It's like in a cartoon!!!

Outstanding, even with the harsh lighting...... because you've captured exciting documentation. !

I'm still laughing over the frames of the Peregrine taking chunks of feathers out of the eagle's back... an eagle getting a taste of its own medicine.

When it comes to their nest site, peregrines get really serious. I love it.

A falcon killed an eagle that got too close to it's nest in New Jersey a couple of years ago. The falcon dove at full speed and hit the eagle in the neck and the eagle went limp and fell into the Hudson River.

Many years ago a friend of mine who ran an autumn hawkwatch for the Hawk Migration Association of North America saw things turn the other way: a redtailed hawk was repeatedly divebombing a golden eagle, and after a few minutes the eagle had had enough. It waited for the next attack, folded one wing, flipped over on its back, grabbed the hawk with one of its talons and took it down to a tree and ate it.

What a great action sequence. I have captured the Eastern Kingbirds tackling the much larger Swainson's Hawks because they were flying through their nesting territory. Always nice to see.

Fantastic stuff! It takes a lot of patience and expert skill to catch moments like these.

On an aside - I love the last one especially in context, because the eagle looks really pissed off! ha ha

In the next several shots the Eagle was eyeing the falcon and "yelling" at her. Had to show it😉
