I love that park...it is Yosemite in Kodachrome....your capture is a great image of what the park has to offer...water, rock, and beautiful blue skies...nice job.
Unfortunately, the opposite problem exists now. The county around Zion was declared a disaster area 2 days ago, and is having horrible flooding. The Virgin river has overrun its banks and numerous houses, bridges, and vehicles have been destroyed. I haven't heard about how much damage may have happened in the park itself, but there could be some major remodeling in the slot canyons like The Narrows and The Subway. I wouldn't be surprised to find a truck or boat, or someone's bathtub, stuck in there next spring.
