You got some beautiful shots of the eagles, despite your saying that there was little action at Conowingo!
Thank you very much Shirley! Sometimes there could be a lot more eagle activities at Conowingo. Over all I couldn't really complain about the 5 hours I spent there that afternoon.
Thank you very much!

Hi Douglas, at what time of the day were these taken?
On that day I was there from 11:00 to 4:00. Not sure exactly when these were taken without looking at the EXIF. I think most in this set were taken between 2:00 to 4:00. It was cloudy most of the time. I had never gone to Conowingo in April before. I think there were at least 50 eagles there, if not a lot more. Some days there are more actions than other. At least it's not that cold now like NOV/DEC! On my second day there I got there at 6:00AM, the sun rose directly in front of me, the eagles were mostly backlit but it could have some dramatic effect if the angles are right. Good luck!
These are exquisite images. The equipment helps, but the artist behind the equipment makes the call on the composition and when to pull the trigger!
200 ISO for BIF in film days!

Nice shots, Douglas. I really like 1, 2 and 3 for better light and quality, and like the action in #4
Thank you, Shibu! It means a lot.

Your image of the the 2 eagles and the loose fish is tremendous.
The Sony combo is obviously serving you well.
Great stuff !

Thank you, Bryan! If I recall correctly, you bought back a 6000 GM?

Thank you! The F4 aperture does come in handy.

Doug,
Incredible series of shots of the Bald Eagle! I am so envious!
Thank you very much! I went back to Conowingo yesterday afternoon for two hours, eagle actions were pretty far away, just some flyover shots that I didn't even keep.
