I just called. They won‘t sell this one over the phone or online, you have to go to the store to pick it up. They do take preorders, just like everybody else.
Probably why they have one in stock.
Glad I didn't walk into that store. So far I am able to resist. But if there was one sitting there waiting to be taken home, I would be unable to resist. Especialy if it bought me a drink....

It was hard seeing the box sitting there all alone when I could give it a nice home.

But number 3 I really don’t have a issue with a dealer wanting a walk in customer that may reside in his neighborhood than some internet mail order place. Okay I’m a old dog been buying career to support my career for decades and sometimes I love the fact that I can drive down to my local shop and support that store that supports my community. Puts on classes and go the extra mile to get you something. It’s not about saving money it’s about the relationship. As maybe someday you may need to depend on that local store to get you something you really need.
So get in your car and go support the community at large. Do not tell your spouse I just twisted your arm to spend 6500. I’m hated enough by spouses. Lol

Yes I use B&H Payboo Card all the time. I actually love the local stores we had and the ones we still have here. I have supported them all my life. I am not buying the A1. I would love one but too rich for my blood at this time. Maybe in a couple years when I retire. Currently I’m using my time working with autistic children. I’ve been doing this for 6 years making minimum wage. Trying to get my priorities in order and give back to a fierce nobody wants to work in.
I’ll live my A1 life through you guys until I can pick one up in a few year. Enjoy 😉
