So I am back set up with my gear down in AZ and me in snowy CO able to take data again, since about the beginning of March. This time I wanted to try again to image the magnificent Rosette Nebula, a target I had originally captured back in back in November 2015 using a cooled OSC camera. That attempt was compromised by me forgetting to take my camera out of sub-framing mode until I had quite a bit of data, resulting in an image of pretty much just the core. This time I did not make that mistake. Even so, this object does not quite fully fit in my FOV at 580mm, but it is much closer.
I took this data over the first half of March with some days unavailable due to weather. The final total is about 12.7 hours. The stars were captured separately using RGB filters and added back into the nebula after the mix was done. This is such a beautiful object even when imaged in LRGB that I decided to mix my narrowband channels in more of an approximation of a natural color look, giving a pink rose color to the outer reaches and then just a hint of the blue contribution from the OIII in the core area. The SII signal was also mixed in a little bit, mostly for some added definition.
Comments and critiques very welcome, and thanks for looking!

Crazy a person can take photos of such things! So beautiful and amazing. I have had the great privilege of making HUGE world class enlargements (usually LUMACHROME HD prints from Robert B Park of Nevada Art Printers) of star shots, milky way shots and such. With the amazing new technologies a HUGE print of something like this (with astonishing clarity and clean detail) is more attainable than ever! Print it HUGE!

I really don't know what to say. I am so much in awe of your work, patience and knowledge it leaves me a bit speechless--which, my friends might say, leaves them speechless. It kind of looks like a giant eye looking out at us, very bloodshot and tired. Saying, come and visit me. I have lots to show you.

Thanks to everyone for all the wonderful feedback
Mark,
Thanks you - that means a lot coming from you.
My plan is to print this pretty large on metal, which I have done with many of my favorite images, both terrestrial and astro based. What is the best way to make a really large print? I have upscaled this 2x and it still looks good at that 9024 x 6782 2x resolution I think.
Dan,
I greatly respect your work as well as your level headed presence on these forums so I appreciate your feedback quite a bit too.

I am also speechless! This is such a stunningly beautiful image that pulls me in more and more the longer I look at it, and kicks my imagination into overdrive! Outstanding!
