True demonstrations of skill mr. KR. Carefully composed, chosen, and edited. 1,2,3 really stand above the rest for me. Very polished work - not something you get easily or quickly.
The latter images are strong but not up to the standard shown in the first ones in my eyes: for image 4, the trees on the edges of the frame really pull me out of the image; for image 5, the foreground dominates too much and my eyes don’t know where to look; image 6, while the light is incredible, the image isn’t balanced and the right peak seems a bit too saturated in the reflection. Please don’t misunderstand, the later images are top-notch examples of landscape photography, but because the first ones are so exemplary, I feel like they hurt the set overall.
Curating is the hardest part of photographing for me - I’m shockingly bad at judging my own work, you are already ahead of me there. I just think you are very close to true greatness. Keep it up!
Thank you very much for your kind words and critics. I can totally relate to your feedback. Thank you for taking time to provide such wonderful feedback. I will try removing the tree branches from number 4 and will reprocess the last photo and repost them soon.
Lovely images, especially the first 3. But the thing I don't understand is in the 3rd image the reflection of the mountain is way brighter than the actual mountain. Usually reflections are darker than the real thing. Also the reflected sky does not match the actual sky. Was something special done in post processing?
