Not sure what kind of bird is in image #4 and 9. But the fact that you can see it’s breath is pretty cool!
Not sure I’ve seen that before.

Thanks Robert. That bird is a Marsh Wren. I've been trying the backlit breath shots more recently. Just need a cool enough morning with full sun. I've found Red-winged Blackbirds and Song Sparrows also make good candidates for breath shots.
Rhododendrons are blooming at 4000 feet. We have approximately 700 on our property so no problem setting up this shot. I titled it 'Hello summer', but it is 48F now, June 1st, as I post this
Caught up with my culling backlog. Gotta start reducing the amount of images I am getting in field because it's taking too much time to go through these and cull out the ones I want to save
Our weather has been crappy the last 2 days here in the Mid-Atlantic. Sixteen from a recent trip. Mostly Red Knot with some Semipalmated, RT and BBP thrown in

Most of a 100+ shot burst while panning was at least somewhat in focus. Eye autofocus picked up in flight. Only 2k more images to cull through but this one stood out at a first glance. Full resolution version looks even better.
