Sweet pics! The Tornadoes were a bit of a surprise. I thought the RAF and the Luftwaffe had retired them a while ago when the Typhoons came into service.
These little deer frequent the property, tiny little things with cute faces. They are about the size of a Great Dane for perspective. Enjoy the day all.

After packing up the California house, selling it, moving to another state, I'm finally getting back in the groove, whipping up Chicken Parmesan for dinner tonight. Feels good to be unpacked, put away, and ready for some culinary adventures!
Glad to hear you are settling in!
This dish looks amazing and the photo is superb my friend

Quiet Sunday, and a rather unexpected visitor. With apologies to Doug and Leon for the crappy quality on the B-17, as it totally surprised me with the fly-by.

A bird of sorts, I guess.

All great shots, Christian! Including the B-17. Since the B-17 was shot from the side, the "freezing" of the propellers due to the high shutter speed didn't really show, good stuff.
A closeup from this morning.

I'm kicking myself. That's the first B-17 I've ever seen flying, and I assumed it was here for the Abbotsford airshow on the mainland. It wasn't until I got home and started researching the visit that I found out there was also a B-25 and this was arranged through the Victoria Flying club. I missed out on the opportunity to go for a flight on one of these! GAH!

Some airshows in the U.S. offer rides in those war birds. I have never been on one, I am not sure if I want to ride in an 80 year plane.
