Ok, I feel obliged to keep posting my non-bird dpr-lens-review-quality boring snaps . I do experiment with RAW processing of A1 files, so they are not too close to SooC jpegs...
This time some bokeh with 24GM.
The thing with this camera is that I find the actual process of taking pictures so enjoyable (no delays, silent shutter, that high quality EVF!) that it takes my attention from the pictures themselves .
I'll join the non-bird party. This is a two image pano. It was shot in jpeg (vs raw) by accident so it appears a little over sharpened to my liking. The lens is the Loxia 35
I started playing around with the Clear Image Zoom feature on the a1 thanks to Alex Pham's posting on facebook. Here, I'm using the 24-105/4 G with an effective FL of 210mm. Shot in jpg, lots of detail but need to watch for over sharpening. Could be useful in a pinch.
I just got my A1 today. Very impressed! Enjoyed the Tracking, BEAF and amazing resolution. I'm finding noise quite easy to deal with. Easier than on some of the samples I played with.
Here's a few birds from my first time out. A walk across the road. All with the 200-600mm.
I know non-bird shots have been requested so I went on a dog walk with the Voigtlander Nokton 75/1.5 on the a1. These are all shot at f/2. Nothing special but a random assortment of fun. BTW - manual focusing with the a1 viewfinder and focus peaking feels easy peasy.
