Spotted flycatcher pair nest building and bringing in feeds for their brood. The nest site (a gap in an old wall of a barn) has been used by redstart in previous years according to the landowner so it was a nice surprise to get the flycatchers, a bird that has seen a severe decline in UK breeding population in the last 25 years. The young look about right to fledge this week so hopefully I'll be able to get some shots of them being fed.

Some non-wildlife shots of Boston on July 4th. Wasn't in a great position to capture the fireworks over the Charles but was surprised by them over the Zakim bridge.
I really wasn't sure what I was going to be able to shoot or from where so I opted to just use the Tamron 28-200 for most of the shots which still amazes me for a super zoom, even on the A1.

Looking at an Oil Painting on Canvas by Raffaelo Sanzio (Raphael) entitled "Madonna del Baldacchino" which was painted in 1507-1508. I was unable to better postion myself due to as I recall the Proximity alarms to better square the painting and to lessen the reflections.
Cropped from left and right, Hand Held relying on Camera IBIS, A1 and Voigtlander 50mm f2 Apo-Lanthar Asph.; silent shutter.
