Peregrine falcons at my favorite site are busy again, making sure that the future generation is guaranteed. Here is the first image but I posted the complete sequence taken with the A1 and GM 600mm lens in the Nature and Wildlife forum here: https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1692651/0#15538350. If you feel like checking that out, please feel free to do so. Thank you!
My first day of birding with the a1 and I started with my backyard friends. Coming from the a9/a7R4, I'm totally amazed at what BE-AF can do. Even with a branch in front of the bird, sometimes on it's face, the camera still finds the eye. Incredible
Great dynamic range of the a1 in this shot. SOOC the eagle was dark but some backlighting was visible. Some exposure and shadow adjustment and the detail is still there. I'm loving this camera on day 1.
Very cool! The right side of its face/beak and front-side of its right ring def seem to have light hitting them since it’s body appears to be between them and the sun.
